FOREMAN / SITE TEAM LEADER

​

An exciting opportunity has become available for a skilled, hard landscaper to lead a team and complete hard landscaping projects within Wiltshire and the surrounding areas. The successful candidate will have sufficient experience and be fully qualified/experienced in paving, brick work, decking, fencing and other associated skills.

The main duties and responsibilities required for the position include, but are not limited to:

• Be fully capable of working from design plans

• Maintain the very highest quality of work to industry standards

• Have the ability to solve and work around unforeseen issues during the build

• Be able to complete landscaping projects within the allotted time

• Be able to guide the team on correct techniques and develop their skills if possible

• To be able to take instructions from senior staff respectfully

• To set clear boundaries for the team regarding timekeeping, behaviour during work time etc.

• Follow health and safety guidelines and always wear the provided personal protective equipment, ensuring the team do also

You will lead a small team and oversee all aspects of the quality of work.

Ideally you will have...

• Previous supervisory experience within the landscape construction industry

• Some horticultural and plant knowledge

• Experience/qualifications with a plant such as using excavators and dumpers

• Drive and ambition 

• Be able to fit into the team

​

The ideal candidate will be confident using a range of plant machinery and power tools. A full driving licence is required for the role.

​

A company van will be provided at the appropriate time for work use. Working hours are full time (40hrs a week), usually Monday to Friday, but depending on projects and timescales flexibility to work at weekends/bank holidays may be required.

​

Salary £26,000 - £28,000.

HARD LANDSCAPE LABOURER

​

We are looking for an experienced hard landscaper to join our Landscape Construction team on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday. You will work on project site assisting skilled landscapers with materials shifting, site preparation, ground works, foundations, drainage, concreting, paving, blockwork, brickwork, stonework, slabbing etc. It's a great opportunity to upgrade your skills. The candidate needs a minimum of one year hard landscaping experience, ideally working on high-end projects where an eye for detail is required. This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to work on some unique and exciting projects.

Successful candidates should demonstrate the following:

• Previous experience working in a labourer role, preferably within a landscaping environment

• Strong team player who is willing to support their colleagues with additional tasks when required

• Ability to work to own initiative in a fast-paced construction environment whilst maintaining a high attention to detail

• Clean driving licence is preferable

• A good understanding of health & safety on site

Salary £80 - £100 a day.
